Acquired around 2001 from a pair of urban archaeologists who find locations of old water wells around Manhattan, New York City and acquire permits from the city to excavate them. 100+ years ago people would throw trash (including empty glass bottles) in the open water wells. Trio of bottles include: 7" blue glass "Phillips Milk of Magnesia" bottle from around 1910, 7.5" H "DL Ormsby & Sons, 423 W 16th St, New York" aqua bottle from the mid 1860s & 5" clear whale" Sperm Sewing Machine Oil" bottle
