Set of two 1960s ceramic cookie jars in the form of a monk and a nun. The monk reads "Thou Shall Not Steal" and the nun reads "The Lord helps him who helps himself." The monk is marked, "1964, DeForest of California, USA" and the nun is marked "USA" but is likely from the 1950s. DeForest of California was in business from 1950-1970. Some age wear, light marks.
